Sterling is on Lake Ontario and is the only town in the county with access to the Great Lakes. It's at the tip as the county stretches northward.
NY State Routes 3 and 38 are in the town and Rtes 104 and 104A pass on the north and south borders. The Sterling Renaissance Festival is held here every summer. Some fine beaches and bays nearby on the lake. |
