This town was founded by Caleb Lyons, he was an advocate of the Black River Canal and the outstanding beauty of the forest in this land, defender of the jewels on this territory. Fresh and clean air is provided mostly by the three branches of the Moose River. Water sports practice increase during october when hundreds of brave men and women challenge themselves to over come the dangerous, risky and difficult "Class-V" whitewater rapids.
There's barely 1000 people around, and we think that's counting the moose and other fauna. |
