The Dye Schoolhouse was the first school built in this community by Elisha Barnes - did they call him Barney? In their beginnings, the agricultural activity was only for self-consummation but the marketing evolution of Watertown and Copenhagen motivated the residents of this town to evolve into the creation of some mercantile stores.
