Because District Courts 10-1-04 and 10-2-02 have fallen far under the average caseloads in the 10th Judicial District, there is consideration to combine the two once Judge McCutcheon of Vandergrift retires in 2010. This means if District Justice Yakopec is re-elected in 2011, she could become a powerhouse in Westmoreland County. So just in case you happen to see her in the meantime, get on her good side :)

District Court 10-1-04 covers the City of Lower Burrell and Upper Burrell Township. The geography is diverse, ranging from pastoral mountains to suburban flatlands to urban congestion. There is a lot of construction underway in the city, so patience (or knowing the backroads) comes in handy. Court itself is almost next door to Hill Crest Country Club, so they may get a few golf rage cases.
