Comments	The phone number listed is a general info phone number for the TVB. This call center phone number is out of the Jamaica Queens office. It is the only phone number given for the Suffolk County TVB. Suffolk County TVB is located on the 2nd floor of the State Office Building. Many lawyers complain that TVB is a kangaroo court, but we have heard others who think you have some chance.
About the area	Suffolk County is the eastern half (or more) of the infamous Long Island. The island is actually rather long, by the way. The county is home to millions of people and there are numerous villages kinda all over the place. Quite a few of the residents are wealthy and the real estate values have shot up so much over the years that many longtime residents complain about how difficult it is to afford the taxes (based on home values). But then, they can sell, take the money and move elsewhere. Many like this idea and head for Florida, but now they have driven prices up there too.

Prosecutors	Police prosecute their own tickets in Suffolk TVB, some say with a little help from the ALJs.
Type Of Cases	Suffolk County Traffic Court sees non-criminal moving violations only. Does not handle parking violations.
