Adventure Oasis Waterpark has a a lazy river, three water slides, interactive family pool, climbing wall and lap pool. Lots of fun on a hot summer day for the whole family. The National Frontier Trails museum has exhibits which portray the history of the Santa Fe, Oregon and California Trails and stories of the pioneers who opened the West. The items on display are authentic 19th century covered wagons, original trail letters and diaries and artifacts found along the trails. Visitors can hop a ride with the horse or mule drawn covered wagon rides with the Wrangler. The kids will probably love visiting the Puppetry Arts Institute which has puppets created by local puppeteers, from around the world and a puppet resource center and puppet stage. Kids should get a kick out of creating their own puppets here and the monthly live puppet show.
