About the area |
Fantastic area as there is a lot of New York history to learn here. The planning for the 1848 1st National Women's Rights Convention took place here. It is also the site of many conflicts between the Iroquois, British, and militia in 1779. There were massive attacks here and the militia won the area. Also, This is the birthplace of Memorial Day. Many people learn about the Sullivan expedition here an the Iroquois nations.
