If you want to be scared out of your wits by costumed mites; join the costumed adults and kids for the annual Spooky Stroll Halloween Parade & Event in late October at Tanner Creek Park in West Linn. There is music, arts and crafts, and a parade. These people can't get enough of the Halloween celebration. Soon after this event there is the annual Old Town Haunt Wilderness which has a Jungle Safari and an animal scavenger hunt. The city needs some fun in its history after hard times brought on by fires and floods in the mid 19th century. Soon after the construction of the Willamette Transportation Locks brought a revival to the city.
