About the area
Sturtevant Park which lies along the Coquille river is the site of the annual Coquille Fire Department "Steak Feed" on the first Saturday in August. Although many Coquille high school graduates have been leaving Coquille after college; in recent years some have been returning because of the quality of life the city offers.
