Population a little over 2,000 people. Area school system is great and there is a real sense of community in this little town. New businesses and restaurants have been created in this area in recent years. They have a thriving historical society that holds a Heritage Day event each year. Townspeople dress up in old antique dresses and suits and re-enact the 1800's. The town also has its own website which is a terrific source of information about Roxbury and the Catskills.
