William Walton is who the town is named after. He was a wealthy New York City Merchant who fought in the militia during the Revolutionary War. The town carries on his name even today. The town is about 3000 people two and half hours north and a bit west of New York City. It is a great small town with educational opportunities and many wonderful businesses. The convenience of the city with a small town flare.
