Caledonia takes pride in its history. The old schoolhouse is now the Big Springs Museum of local history; The Old Caledonia House Hotel, a stop (circa 1830) on the Albany-Buffalo stage line, is now the Masonic Temple; the Seneca\'s old campsite & council Tree are now part of Tennent Park. A welcoming community, a deer walked in the front door of the Jubilee grocery store, wandered the aisles &, making no purchase, strolled out the back door.
