Formally named Leicester in the early 1800s, this is the home of Jerediah Horsford, who served in the War of 1812, the NYS legislature & the Congress too. Boyd-Parker Town Park includes the Torture Tree & Burial Mound. Letchworth State Park's northern section is just south of downtown Leicester. Geneseo is a few miles to the east.
