The tiny borough of Riverton houses nearly 2800 people and borders Palmyra borough. Because of this, some sources say that the courthouse is located in Palmyra. Once upon a time, Riverton was a summer resort for the wealthy, but today it is a thriving residential community. Riverton boasts of the all-purpose Riverton Park, just 2 blocks from the Courthouse and Riverton Country Club and Yacht Club, about 0.5 miles away from the heart of the borough. The Yacht Club is one of the oldest Yacht Clubs in the country. Rt 543 passes through this borough. River Line light rail system runs through the borough, the stop in the borough is Riverton Station.
