Kirkland’s Juanita Bay Park wildlife preserve is habitat to shorebirds, nesting eagles, and nocturnal beavers. The park has been cited by the Audubon Society. Kirkland's has many public outdoor art sculptures by leading regional and nationally known artists. Look out for a pair of bronze grizzlies or giant hares on a street corner.
