Very rural area with tons of corn fields. Corn here grows from June right through August. After the bulk is sold around the area and shipped out, the rest is ground up and used for feed for cattle. People in the area have corn roasts during August where you envelope corn in aluminum foil and cook it on a bonfire. It is so good and sweet especially with lots of butter and salt. This is a beautiful rural farm and hill country. Fantastic views of Canada (?) and beautiful sunsets.
