Moira was part of the town of Dickinson but they broke away in 1828. The town is between Brushton and Lawrenceville. The school district is well known for its athletic teams. The population is a little over 2,000 and there is a town community center and several churches. Good area to start a farm or dog kennel as there are miles and miles of woods and fields on the outside of the village. Also, might be a nice area to retire in as it is very quiet and peaceful.
