Malone is great to visit whether it be winter or summer. Take advantage of a great golf course with fine dining, local shopping, and friendly people. Every August there is County fair including rides, musical entertainment, car racing, and much more. Come in the winter time to see the Snocross challenge including snomobile racing and the Winter Carnival parade. Also, stay at one of the area hotels, B&B's or motels. There are also several small museums in the area that teach about North Country history. Area art galleries are also an attraction. The state correctional facilities are probably less of an attraction for some, but they still bring some reluctant tourists.
