| About the area |
Very small town on the edge of the Canadian border. Trout River the next small town over is the home of their customs building. Two churches, an adult community center, town hall, and fire department make up the town. Every June they have a community garage sale where everyone sells their treasures on their front lawn. Also, in the fall they have a town Halloween party where everyone dresses in costume. They also have hay rides and pumpkin carving contests. Great stop over on your way to Massena or Canada. One other event that always draws the local people is their annual Chicken Barbeque. Good stuff.
