| About the area |
Van Buren is a town of about 13,000 residents located just south of the Seneca River. It was named in honor of United States President Martin Van Buren who was a former governor of New York State. The New York State Thruway (I-90) runs through the southern part of the town and I-690 runs through some of the town as well.
